DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate Halloween on the Farmstead! Come in cos
 tume (no scary costumes) and bring a bag for trick of treating around the f
 arm. Enjoy games\, goodies\, and activities including wagon rides and feedi
 ng the chickens. Story time will feature a preschool favorite\, The Very Bu
 sy Spider by Eric Carle. Head to the historic pole barn to make your own sp
 ider craft to take home. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a beautiful fall da
 y on the farm! \n\n Tickets available 9/3 at 10am.\n\nLittle Farmer Fridays
  is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups.  
 Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old\, our programs offer fa
 milies the opportunity to hear a story\, make a craft\, meet our livestock\
 , enjoy a wagon ride\, and have fun on our 4-acre farm.\n\nGates open at 10
 am. Activities available 10am-12pm. Farm grounds close at 2pm.\n\nChild (2 
 years and up) $15\n\nToddler (13-23 months) $7\n\nInfants (12 months or you
 nger) are free \n\nAdult (12 years and up) $5 \n\nMuseum Members get one ad
 ult ticket FREE with purchase of a child’s ticket. Contact the Museum Offic
 e for your access code.\n\nAll tickets are non-refundable but may be transf
 erred one time to another Little Farmer Fridays event by May 10\, 2025. Ema
 il education@heritagefarmstead.org with your request. Unused tickets will b
 e considered a donation to the farm. \n\nLittle Farmer Fridays often sell o
 ut. If the event is sold out\, no tickets will be available the day of the 
 event or at the door.\n\nParking\n\nVisitors may park along Pitman Drive or
  in the lot on the southside of BT Furnishings. Do not park at Chase Bank o
 r in front of private residences.  \n\nWeather and Cancellations\n\nEvents 
 are held\, rain or shine. Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farms
 tead.  Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if it has recently rained.
  Check weather the day of the event to make sure you and your little ones a
 re dressed comfortably for the outdoors.\n\nIf a program is cancelled due t
 o severe weather\, the decision will be made by 8am on the day of the progr
 am. Refunds will be processed in these cases.
