Art With Impact
With this exhibition, the ArtCentre of Plano steps into new territory - presenting, for the first time, a juried exhibition of Texas artists. More than 200 submissions were reviewed by Texas-born art professional Kristin Rivas, and from them 70 works have been chosen to tell a larger story, not just of individual talent but of how art speaks to its time, its place, and its people. These works impact the conversation about contemporary art in Texas by presenting diverse voices in one cohesive exhibition. They impact the careers of artists whose work are being introduced to new audiences and collectors. The ArtCentre is open Tuesdays - Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
