Join us the weekend of September 17, 18, 19, 20, 2026 for the H-E-B | Central Market Plano Balloon Festival. You will be mesmerized by the spectacular kaleidoscope of colorful hot-air balloons* and special shapes* in Plano’s Oak Point Park / Redtail Pavilion. You will hear the roar of 35+ balloons, including special shapes inflating and glowing against the backdrop of the dark night sky on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Early Saturday and Sunday mornings the balloons will launch* and fly over Plano, a sight that spreads a since of delight and wonder to all as you experience the beautiful balloons overhead. (*weather perming).

The FOX4 Main Stage will be busy with the Plano Symphony’s Big Band Concert on Thursday evening, Midtown 10 Friday evening, Saturday morning we will showcase the Plano Community Band and Collin County Children’s Chorus, with Ice House Band closing out the evening. Each afternoon at 6pm, the REMAX Skydivers will be flying the flag as they land on the balloon launch field. The Festival’s custom Fireworks shows are a must see on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, providing countless options for glorious colors lighting the night sky.

Corporate sponsors are proudly showcasing everything from cars, remodeling services, vacation options, to products you can’t live without. Merchandise vendors provide attendees with amazing shopping options while our food concessionaires are all in with the Best in Festival Food!

If you’ve got kids, we have just the place for them to have a great time, the Central Market Kids Fun Zone and Kids Korner Art Tent.

September 20 – 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Hot-air balloon launches, displays, glows and tethered rides may be restricted due to adverse weather conditions or wind speeds that exceed safety levels. Hot-air balloons are ONLY in the Park during scheduled balloon displays and are NOT present in the park between 9am and 7pm.

If in the unlikely event the Festival is suspended or cancelled due to inclement weather, city, state, national, or local health concerns/restrictions, force majeure or other causes beyond Festival control there will be no refunds or a rescheduled date.
